Story

Hi there,

As you may know I am currently undergoing treatment for Stage IV Melanoma after finding out 10 weeks after having our 3rd baby in August 2018 that my Melanoma had now spread to my lungs and liver. After having small spot removed from my shoulder back in 2016.

Melanoma is the third most common cancer in Australian men and women, and the most common cancer affecting 15 to 39-year-olds. In 2019, it was predicted that there will be over 1,700 deaths from melanoma - that is one Australian every five hours.

With continuous research and funding and of course the development of some ground breaking treatments, the life expectancy for advanced melanoma patients has now tripled.

Myself and my beautiful family have decided to participate in the Melanoma March this year and also create a fundraising page. Through here you can easily support our efforts by making a secure donation. All funds raised will go towards a national melanoma research project to save lives. I would also really appreciate it if you could share my page or comment so more people know about it.

Thank you..xx
